Feb 18, 2022 · Falken Wildpeak AT Trail thoughts and review. I have had this tire since last fall (September 2021) and thought it was time to finally document my thoughts. Overall I think it's a solid tire for those that fit the Outback (and Subaru) typical driver. But to me it's just an aggressive all season tire.

Subaru should have been embarrassed to install these things (not to mention the 6.5" inch round installed in the 6"9 hole in the front doors). Sadly, I just realized that the owners manual says my factory tow hitch is limited to 350 lb tongue weight. So, all of the under 3500 lb trailers I was looking at are now excluded because they have 350+ dry tongue weight ratings. The OBW does come with an All Terrain tire. It may not be an aggressive tire but it is an AT tire and are good for some level of off roading. I had an Ascent and went from “street” tires to the same G015s that are on my OBW. On the Ascent the hit to my mileage for going with the G015s was only about 1 mpg.
